Very little truth be told. I engage people all the time on articles written by more famous writers and journalists but for my own works, not so much. I sometimes think I am not famous enough in the right circles to warrant conversation on my podcast newsletters. That's okay though. I don't create the podcasts to gain a bunch of shallow minded followers. My purpose is to vent my frustrations with the world to the world. The podcasts provide good therapy for me. Especially The Village Oak Tree. It allows me the creative freedom and outlet to voice my thoughts on the various ills I see in the news feeds. If I can assist in making changes for the better somewhere, then I know I am doing good. Meanwhile, I will continue to protest against the oligarchy and injustices of the world and devil take the hindmost, as my dear 'ole Da used to say.
I do appreciate engaging with people as long as we are civil with one another. I have no tolerance for ijits who want to pick a fight over stupid stuff. Differences of opinions is what makes life interesting.
So, what did you think of the website? I put that together from scratch. I started with it over a year ago and have been tweaking it ever since to where it is now.
Interesting to hear about your background. I too have witnessed that regular people do the same things and have the same concerns across countries. Everyone just wants a decent life for themselves and their kids. It's the war and money mongers -- the sociopaths -- who ruin it for everyone else with their obvious and destructive mental illness.
I too believed the climate change narrative until about a year ago when I started digging into it and found that most legitimate scientists consider it nonsense and a political ruse by the elites to do an even bigger pillage via the Net Zero agenda and to depopulate the planet and herd everyone into cities where they can be controlled. Quebec is already trying to legislate climate change lockdowns! The planet's atmosphere and the environment are being de-stabilized and changed through geo-engineering and weather warfare, not through human activity and CO2 levels. Remember the hype about entering an ice age in the 70s and 80s? Funny how all of a sudden there was a climate change warming enemy right after the fall of the Soviet Union, led by none other than VP Al Gore with his very erroneous documentary An Inconvenient Truth. You might want to do some more digging and reach your own conclusions, but here are some posts I think might be worth reading:
I do think that the climate is warming up. Do I think it is all related to the use of fossil fuels, no. They are big contributors, but so are all of the cattle ranchers and such around the world. The thing is, the planets climate has always been cyclical and the scientists know this. It just happens that the climate decided to warm up when our technology gives us instant access to information so whenever there is a wildfire or extreme temperatures somewhere, everyone with a cell phone knows about it. Then it gets on social media and the rumors go wild. I remember the extreme winters from a short few winters ago living way up north. Now, the temperature pendulum is swinging the other way for a bit. We will just have to wait it out, just like when it was snowing like crazy with days and days of subzero temps. I have been watching the climate change activists like Al Gore for years and just putting those thoughts away for now to see how it all plays out over time. Some of what they predicted is coming true. Now I am content to see if the rest of those predictions come to pass. I am prepared for the most part to ride things out for now.
First, thanks for your autobiographical notes and explanation of how you came to be an activist. It takes inner steel to recognize unpleasant “home truths” and be willing to speak them to others. Good on ya!
Second, the link to your website is not working.
Third, I recommend the following Substack writers:
* JY Sexton - author of two excellent recent books on how America got to its present stat and how we can/must fight back.
* Jay Kuo - great analysis of both the political and legal sides of today’s news and events.
* Bette Dangerous (aka Heidi Cuda) - working hard to document and warn us about our Ten Most Dangerous opponents. An interesting writer.
I stand corrected. Apparently, there is a disconnect between Substack and my website host. When I navigate directly with the url, the site certificate is fine. Using link through Substack, the certificate is different and I need to fix that somehow.
I have heard of JY Sexton. I am not a paid subscriber but I do get his free letters now and again. I subscribe to Thom Hartmann, Nate Bear and a couple of others though. Chris Hedges is one I subscribed to. All good people trying to do the right thing. All I can do is aspire to their greatness and try to bring up the rear as best as I can.
Website link works fine now. Good fix! Just curious here, Terrance, but do you get many responses from readers (blog, podcasts, or Substack)? You obviously put a lot of effort into your posts and I’m wondering how much feedback and discussion you get. 🧐
I will check these out, thank you. I will also try to find out why the link doesn't work. Thanks for letting me know. I am already thinking ahead to next week's topic and these will fit in nicely.

Hey T (Terence??), a couple of points:

Fixed it.
I fixed the website link. It was misspelled. Now corrected. Let me know what you think.
